Email Invoices & Custom Tabs
We have two new cool features that we hope you’ll find useful:
- you can email invoices to your clients directly from Paymo. As a result we have two new invoice statuses Sent and Viewed. If an invoice has the viewed status it means your client clicked on the invoice permalink and saw your invoice.
- Custom Tabs allow you to add your custom tabs to the Paymo interface. Just navigate to a often used section in Paymo and click on the “+” icon in the navbar. It will popup a form that will allow you to name your custom tab which will be linked to the section you’re on (alternatively you can manually add a internal relative URL to the Link field)
Let us know if you have any questions!

Very cool Feature! As well as the UserDefined Tab, which work with an external link just perfect.

Hi, how did you set it up to an external link with Custom User Tabs? I need that feature. I tried just adding a tab to google docs, but can’t seem to get it to do so. I need a place to store notes of different kinds, and an external link to online doc would be great!
Any ideas? Thanks.

Fantastic!
However…… there would be some serious benefit in being able to customise the “From” field in the email – I’d like it to come from “Accounts at My Company” not “Paymo Service”.

@Mark: we didn’t add this feature for two reasons:
1. emails with invoices might be considered as spam if you change the from field. This could cause very serious problems with invoices not being received
2. to keep out spammers
