Latest updates

Some of the most requested features you’ve been asking for are now live:

  • time entry rounding is now available in the Reports and Invoicing modules, very useful for people billing in increments
  • you can now set custom billing rates per employee
  • you can now set an invoice language that is independent of the user settings
  • you can now retire user accounts and keep their data without the need to upgrade to more users
  • many of you wanted a smaller version of the widget that takes up less space on the desktop/dashboard. You can now easily switch from the big widget to a light-weight version with the click of a button.
  • if you put your computer to sleep or hibernate you’ll no longer have problems with the timer, it will stop automatically
  • you can configure the invoice numbering system even more, you can set the invoice count variable to [iiii] and it will be formatted like 0001
  • clicking your logo in the widget opens up your management interface in a new browser window.
  • when you start the widget, the last project you worked on is automatically  selected

More cool stuff is brewing in the lab, stay tuned.

  • I tried this new feature “clicking your logo in the widget opens up your management interface in a new browser window. ” – but for some reason it opens in IE – which is not my computers default browser – Fire Fox is. Is that a setting?

    John

  • Hi John, this happens because the IE engine is used by the widget and can’t be changed, however the desktop icon that takes you to your management interface opens up in the default browser.

  • Hi guys

The colouring from the invoice status column recently vanished. IE when an invoice is overdue the word “pending” would be red. Have I done something silly or missing something in our settings?

    Thanks

    Rob

  • Hi Robert,
it’s a bug we’re aware of, it will be fixed very soon. sorry for the trouble.

  • How will the recent announcement that Yahoo Go 3 is being discontinued affect Paymo?

    http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/11/17/yahoo-go-is-a-no-go/

My wife uses the Paymo YahooGo app on her blackberry to enter hours from time to time. Will she still be able to log her time from her phone? Is there a blackberry app planned?

    We love, love, love Paymo!!

    Thanks,
    Steve

  • This is sad news for everyone using Yahoo Go apps. We’ll explore other options to offer mobile support next year.

  • Hi Chaps,

I tried using your contact form, but it wont submit, the page just sits there and does nothing, I am using IE8.

I wanted to ask if you have any kind of affiliate program
    ?

  • Just a small thing – On the Mac OSX widget the ‘start’ button doesn’t get focus so you can’t tab to it and enter if you’re entering time via the keyboard. Can this be addressed?

  • Whoops – cancel that last post! I’ve just discovered the Mac setting that enables the Tab key to move between all controls. Forgive me, I’m a Mac newbie (or is that ‘recent convert’?)
