Paymo & Basecamp Time Tracking Integration
We have some exciting news for our users who also use the new version of Basecamp. Today we’re officially launching our new Basecamp time tracking integration module that will allow you to keep your Projects, Tasks Lists and Tasks in sync between the two systems.
To use it head to the Company Settings (settings wheel icon, top right of the screen) > Integrations > Basecamp New page. Here you will be able to proceed with the sync:
- Process all projects (this might take a while if you have a lof of projects)
- Process projects modified since last sync (this is fast and is recommended sync method)
Please note that the integration with the old version of Basecamp is still available and functional. If you have any questions or encounter any issues please contact us.

This is fantastic guys – I needed a time tracking feature for Basecamp, the integration went quick, I’m impressed – and i haven’t even played around with the features yet. Thank You!!

Greeat, but it shuld be automated! Downloadig tasks and projects every hour is a big mess!

I am getting the following error after I click “Basecamp New” under Company Settings > Integrations:
:error: Provided redirect_uri is not approved

Hi James,
did you sync with Basecamp before? You should try clearing “the access token” with the “clear access token” button, logout of Paymo and then try again.
