As a small business, for the last several years I have worked with mostly home grown solutions for handling my hourly billing cycles. This involved keeping track with my phone, with the computer clock and a number of other less than effective tools. My frustration pushed me to find something that worked and after several failed options, I found Paymo.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best time tracking tool out there. It is clearly built and maintained by someone who understands how challenging it is to keep track of hours and yet also how little time there is in a day to focus on it. The system is straight forward and intuitive to use, with clearly worked out usability and navigation.
As as result of using this tool I have a much better idea of where I have been failing to bill appropriately for hours worked and how I can start to look for efficiences in my work practices.
