Our Team. Meet the timetrackers

Paymo, LLC, is a privately-owned company based in Romania. Our team began developing Paymo since 2007 while working on other technical projects. At first, Paymo was simply an internal project, to allow our designers and coders to be more productive by easily monitoring their time. However, we soon realized that this application would be useful to other business owners and freelancers, and Paymo quickly grew into one of the leading free time tracking apps available online.
As more and more clients began using Paymo, we began to further develop the system into a powerful set of online tools for companies ranging from small businesses all the way up to enterprise size, while still keeping the basic service free.

Jan Lukacs

Gen. Manager

Jan is an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for web apps. He takes care of marketing and business development at Paymo. He’s a recovering email addict.

Dumitru Lungu

Senior Programmer

Dumitru is our resident code guru. Coming from a desktop programming background he has fully embraced the power of web and cloud apps. When he’s not programming you can probably find him touring with his bike.

Ruslan Talpa

CTO

Ruslan is deeply involved in developing Paymo and keeping it running smoothly. He occasionally plays the guitar (3 of them plus and amp that goes to 11) and knows how to appreciate a good dark beer.

Zoltan Varadi

Sysadmin

Zoltan is the reason why our servers don’t crash. He lives in a 2d world called the command line, thus his name will probably be used as a Linux distro sometime in the future.

Alex Drimbe

Web Developer

Alex is responsible for various coding tasks related to Paymo. His love for Ajax is only surpassed by his love for Apple products. Friends call him McDrimbe.

Daniel Bokor

Intern

Daniel is our junior programmer and intern here at Paymo. He’s involved in testing and tweaking new Paymo features. He’s also our office candy supplier.

Andrei Gadoiu

Web Makeup Artist

Andrei makes Paymo beautiful. He’s an artistic spirit with a strong technical background. Some say he’s managed to run Photoshop on his synth.
